Big Batch Fudge

- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 8 oz. miniature marshmallows
- 18 oz. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. broken nutmeats
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a large heavy saucepan, put the sugar and evaporated milk. Bring slowly to a rolling boil.

2Let boil for no longer than 8 minutes, stirring constantly, to keep from scorching.

3Remove from heat and add the marshmallows, chocolate chips and butter or margarine. Stir until melted and well blended.

4Add broken nutmeats and vanilla. Spread in large ungreased (at least 9 x 13-inches) pan.

5When cool, cut into squares.

6Makes a huge batch, about 4 to 5 pounds of fudge.
