  • 2 c. Swans Down cake flour
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. orange juice
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut flavoring

    Cream sugar and Crisco together first.

    Then add some flour, a tablespoon of orange juice and an egg.

    Alternate this until all is mixed well.

    Then add flavoring.

    Mix well.

    Pour into cake pan that is well greased.

    Cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 300°. Butter-flavored Crisco is best for this cake.
