- 1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans
- fat back meat (about 2 x 2-inch piece or more if you like)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Wash and snap green beans.

2Put in pot.

3Put water over top of beans and cook on medium heat (or medium-high) until all of water just cooked out.

4Just before all water is gone, I sprinkle about 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar in beans.
