  • 2 c. biscuit crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. milk, scalded
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Directions

    Soak bread crumbs in milk until soft.

    Beat eggs until light; add vanilla, sugar, salt, nutmeg and raisins. Mix with bread mixture.

    Pour into a greased baking dish and bake for 1 hour at 350° until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
