- 1/3 c. shortening
- 2/3 to 3/4 c. milk
- 2 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Using the basic bread dough, pinch off biscuit size pieces of dough and flatten slightly in hand.

2Put one-inch piece of medium sharp Cheddar cheese in the center and pull the edges up to seal well.

3Place the sealed edge down in a lightly floured biscuit pan.

4Bake at 450° for about 12 minutes.

5Serve hot.

6Cheese will be melted inside.
