- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/3 c. liquid vegetable oil
- 2/3 c. low-fat milk (skim)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Measure flour and baking powder into 1-quart bowl.

2Measure 1/3 cup liquid oil into 1-cup measure; 2/3 cup milk will then just fill the 1-cup measure.

3Pour into center of flour.

4Mix as little as possible until dough leaves sides of bowl.

5Turn onto floured bread board.

6Press out to about 1/2-inch thick.

7Cut with cutter. Bake on ungreased baking sheet in preheated 425° oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, longer if more browning is desired or if large cutter was used.

8Yield:

916 or more biscuits.

10Serve hot.
