  • 1 orange
  • whole cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 large bottle Burgundy, Zinfandel or Claret
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Stud whole orange with cloves and heat in wine with cinnamon stick for 30 minutes.

    Do not boil.

    Stir in sugar.

    Serve at once or keep hot in a double boiler.
