- 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Using a wooden spoon, blend cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt.

3Carefully fold in chocolate chips; set aside. Combine dry ingredients in bowl and mix well.

4Add remaining ingredients and blend thoroughly.

5Fill cupcake papers 3/4 full. Drop 1 heaping tablespoonful cream cheese mixture into center of each.

6Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
