- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

1Soften cream cheese (45 seconds in microwave), then add egg, sugar and beat well.

2Stir in the chocolate chips; set aside. Combine dry ingredients.

3Stir in water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

4Fill paper baking cups half full with cocoa mixture.

5Spoon heaping teaspoonful of cream cheese mixture on top.

6Sprinkle each with nuts and a little sugar.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

8Makes 20 to 24 cupcakes.
