- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients.

2Stir in water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.

3Spoon batter into paper lined muffin tins, filling 2/3 full with cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar.

4Add egg and salt, beating well.

5Stir in chocolate morsels.

6Spoon one heaping teaspoonful of this mixture into center of each cupcake.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan before serving.
