- 6 oz. cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 2/3 c. oil
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat first 4 ingredients well.

2Stir in chips.

3Sift together dry ingredients.

4Combine water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.

5Add flour mixture to liquids; beat well.

6Pour into cupcake molds and top with spoonful of cheese mixture.

7Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional).

8Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
