- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- sugar and chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine the cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, egg and salt.

2Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside. Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Add water, cooking oil, vinegar and vanilla.

3Mix well.

4Fill cupcake papers 1/3 full with chocolate batter.

5Place a heaping teaspoonful of cheese mixture in center. Sprinkle tops with sugar and nuts. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
