  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Mix flour, brown sugar and margarine until crumbly.

    Press in well-greased cookie sheet or 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

    Remove and cool for 10 minutes.

    Turn oven to 375°.
