- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. canned milk
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
- 1 c. chopped black walnuts (do not chop fine)
Directions

1Combine brown sugar, white sugar and milk.

2Boil until it becomes like syrup.

3Add egg and flour or cornstarch; boil a few minutes longer.

4Remove from heat; add walnuts and beat.

5Cool filling.

6Spread between yellow or white cake layers and on top.
