  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. black walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Boil to soft ball stage the sugar, salt and sour cream.

    Add butter and black walnuts.

    Cool at room temperature, without stirring, until lukewarm (110°).

    Beat until loses its gloss.

    Add nuts.

    Spread in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

    Cut into pieces.
