- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 2/3 c. blackberry jam
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream or milk
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2/3 c. raisins
Directions

1Cream butter; add sugar.

2Beat in jam and nutmeg.

3Dissolve soda in 1 tablespoon water and add to sour cream, then add this to eggs which have been beaten.

4Add to butter-sugar mixture, then mix with flour.

5Sprinkle small amount of flour over raisins and stir in.

6Bake in 350° oven in small loaf pan until done, about 30 minutes.

7May be frosted or left plain.
