  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. thick blackberry jam
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • Cool Whip or prepare a meringue for topping

    Beat eggs, add sugar to which the flour has been added.

    Pour in milk, melted butter; jam and the vanilla.

    Mix well. Pour into pie shell.

    Bake 40 minutes at 425°.

    Let cool, then top with Cool Whip or meringue.
