Blackeyed Pea Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can black-eyed peas with jalapenos, or
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black-eyed peas (plus 1 Tbsp Jalapeno Pepper, chopped)
  • 14 cup onion, chopped
  • 14 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons picante sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350*.

    Drain peas and discard juice.

    Mash peas with fork, but leave some chunks.

    Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Spread in a baking dish and bake at 350* for 20-30 min or until the dip bubbles.
