  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/3 cups boiling water
  • chocolate ganache icing
