- 1/3 c. margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. broken nuts
Directions

1Melt margarine over low heat, then set aside to cool.

2Beat eggs until light, then beat in syrup, sugar and cooled margarine. Sift flour and baking powder and stir into egg mixture.

3Stir in vanilla and nuts.

4Spread into greased 8 x 8-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° until done.
