- 7 egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. white sugar
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Caramelize 3 tablespoons white sugar in a baking dish.

3Caramel must cover surface of dish.

4Use baking dish that is round, about 4-inches deep and 9-inch width.

5Gently beat egg yolks with one whole egg.

6Add condensed milk; beat gently.

7Add vanilla extract.

8Butter a cooled baking dish.

9Pour mixture into the caramelized dish.

10Cover tightly with foil.

11Bake 1 hour over a water bath.

12Leche Flan is cooked when toothpick comes out clean.
