  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 1 lb. light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

    Melt margarine.

    Add brown sugar.

    Beat and stir in eggs, one at a time.

    Add vanilla, flour, salt and baking powder, then stir in chocolate chips.

    Bake in a double size sheet cake pan.

    Grease pan well.

    Bake at 350° until very light brown, about 12 to 20 minutes.
