- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 2 c. (10 oz.) salted peanuts
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Butter a large cookie sheet; set aside.

2Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in heavy 10-inch skillet.

3Stir to mix.

4Bring to a boil over high heat.

5Reduce heat slightly, but keep mixture boiling as rapidly as possible, without boiling over.

6Boil about 20 minutes or until syrup turns a very light tan.

7Do not overbrown.

8Remove from heat.
