- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup coffee
- 2 tablespoons Tia Maria
- 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
- chocolate shavings
- whipped cream
Directions

1Beat egg yolks and sugar in a medium bowl until pale and fluffy.

2Mix coffee and Tia Maria in a small saucepan.

3Sprinkle with gelatin.

4Set aside 5 minutes to soften.

5Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until gelatin dissolves.

6Add gelatin mixture to egg yolks and cool.

7Beat egg whites until they are stiff but not dry and fold them into mousse.

8Spoon into individual dessert glasses and garnish with chocolate and whipped cream.
