- 1 unbaked 9-inch double crust
- 2/3 to 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 5 c. fresh blueberries
- 4 1/2 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, water and 3 cups berries in saucepan.

2Cook on medium heat until mixture thickens and begins to boil.

3Cool slightly.

4Place remaining 2 cups berries in unbaked pie shell.

5Stir lemon juice and butter into cooked mixture.

6Spoon over fresh berries.

7Cover with top crust.

8Fold top edge under bottom crust.

9Flute and cut slits.

10Bake in preheated 425° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.

11Cool to room temperature before serving.
