  • 4 c. frozen or fresh blueberries
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. skim milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. oleo

Directions

    Place first 3 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a good boil.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Melt oleo in a Dutch oven.

    Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, milk and vanilla and pour mixture over oleo.

    Using a cup, pour berries over the mixture. Bake at 350° until done, about 40 minutes.
