Ingredients
- 2 c. fresh blueberries
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Combine blueberries, lemon juice and cinnamon.

2Place into an 8-inch square pan.

3Cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar; add milk. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

4Add to creamed mixture; mix well.

5Spread batter over blueberries.

6Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch.

7Sprinkle over batter.

8Pour hot water over top.

9Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
