- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1In a 2-quart saucepan, place butter, sugar, nutmeg and blueberries.

2Cook over low heat about 5 minutes.

3Combine lemon juice and cornstarch.

4Stir into blueberry mixture.

5Continue to cook and stir until thickened.

6Serve warm over waffles or pancakes.

7Makes 2 1/2 cups.
