  • 1 cup Whole Shelled Almonds, Raw
  • 1/2 cups Walnuts, Shelled
  • 1/4 cups Shelled Raw Pistachios
  • 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Canola Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Chipotle Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Barbara's Original Puffins Cereal
  • 1- 1/4 cup Blueberries, Fresh

Directions

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.

    In a large bowl, add almonds, walnuts and pistachios; set aside.

    In a small saucepan over low heat, add honey, oil, chipotle powder, cayenne and cinnamon.

    Cook until warmed, stirring well.

    Pour the honey mixture over the nuts and stir with a rubber spatula until coated.

    Sprinkle salt over nuts and mix until combined.

    Spread nut mixture in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.

    Bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.

    Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack.

    Let it cool completely.

    Transfer baked nut mixture to a large bowl.

    Add cereal and toss to combine.

    To serve, combine 1/4 cup of the nut mixture with 1/4 cup fresh blueberries.

    Store nut mixture in an airtight container for up to 1 week (dont add the blueberries when storing it).
