Blushing Apple Cream Pie

- 3/4 c. heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. red cinnamon candies
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 4 1/2 c. thinly sliced, peeled baking apples
- pastry for double crust pie
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. Add apples and stir gently to mix.

2Pour into a pastry-lined pie plate.

3Roll out remaining crust to fit top of pie.

4Cut slits in top crust.

5Place over apples.

6Seal and flute edges.

7Bake at 400° for 50 minutes or until pastry is golden and apples are tender.
