  • 1/2 lb. stewing meat, cut into small pieces
  • 2 onions, diced
  • garlic (powder or cloves)
  • oregano, thyme, salt and pepper
  • 1 c. Burgundy wine
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms (fresh)

Directions

    Brown meat.

    Put into casserole.

    Make gravy.

    Can add bouillon cubes for flavor.

    Pour over meat and add Burgundy wine. Put in oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 325°.

    One hour before serving, add mushrooms and some more Burgundy wine.

    Serve over rice or wide noodles.
