- 4 whole Artichokes
- 8 cups Water, Or Enough To Cover The Artichokes And Other Ingredients
- 4 cloves Garlic, Smashed
- 2 whole Lemons, Halved, And Juice Squeezed Out Of Halves
- 2 stalks Celery, Large, Chopped
- 3 sprigs Bay Leaves
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
Directions

1Prepare a large pot of water and add all of the ingredients except the artichokes. Add the lemon juice and the lemon halves.

2Trim the artichoke stems and leaves, and cut the tops off so the flavor can reach the inside. Add artichokes to the pot of water. Bring water to a boil and boil for 45 minutes until the artichokes are tender. Enjoy!
