- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. cold milk
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Heat 1 quart of rich milk in double boiler.

2When hot, add the well beaten yolks of 3 eggs, diluted with 1/2 cup cold milk.

3Beat the whites to a stiff froth, adding a pinch of salt.

4When well beaten, add 1 cup sugar and beat until smooth.

5Add slowly the heated milk and cook until thick.
