  • 2 lb. lean corned beef
  • 4 small whole carrots
  • 1 c. turnip, diced
  • 4 potatoes, peeled
  • 4 cabbage wedges
  • 4 small onions
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Cover corned beef with cold water and bring to a boil.

    Simmer in tightly covered pan for one hour.

    Add all vegetables except cabbage and simmer 1/2 hour longer.

    Add cabbage and cook uncovered for 15 minutes.
