Bojac Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 2 c. granulated sugar divided
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp dry mustard
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine

Directions

    In medium saucepan, combine water, 1 c. sugar and vinegar.

    Bring to a boil.

    In bowl, blend together 1 c. sugar, salt, flour, mustard and Large eggs.

    Slowly add in egg mix to warm sugar mix.

    Reduce heat to medium; cook till thickened.

    Remove from heat, add in butter or possibly margarine and stir till melted.

    Cook and store in airtight jar in refrigerator.

    Makes about 4 c.. (32 - 2 Tbsp.
