  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 28 ounces plum tomatoes
  • 12 onion
  • garlic 4 clove
  • basil, 3 tsp
  • sugar, 2 tsp
  • oregano, 2 tsp
  • salt, 1 tsp
  • pepper, 1 tsp
  • extra virgin olive oil, as needed
  • 12 lb ground beef
  • 1 fluid ounce beer

Directions

    Add diced onions, garlic and oil to pan and sautee.

    Pull apart plum tomatoes with hands, add all tomatoes and spices to a pot.

    Add sauteed onion and garlic to pot along with beer and simmer on low.

    Brown beef and drain, leave some grease in and add to pot.

    Let simmer 45 minutes to 3 hours.
