Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. chicken tender pieces
  • 1 Tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seed
  • 1 tsp. chopped ginger or 1/2 tsp. dry ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. brown ginger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 c. sherry wine
  • canola oil for frying

Directions

    Remove white tendon from tender pieces and dredge in flour, salt and paprika mixture.

    Brown tender pieces in hot canola oil and remove to a covered baking dish.

    Combine sherry, brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger in a blender and blend 1 minute. Mix in sesame seed and pour over chicken pieces.

    Mix to coat pieces and bake in a 375° oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
