  • 1/2 c. white Karo
  • 3/4 c. half and half
  • nuts (if desired)

    Cook the first 3 ingredients until soft ball (234° to 240°). Beat until creamy and thick.

    Add nuts, if desired.

    Pour out into buttered pan.

    Stir until sugar dissolves, then no more. Cool; cut into squares.
