  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • milk

Directions

    Soften butter and add sugar.

    Beat until smooth.

    Add 2 egg yolks, salt, baking powder and vanilla and beat.

    Use enough milk with flour for consistency.

    Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.

    Bake in 2 cake pans (buttered and floured) for 30 minutes at 350°.
