- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- milk
Directions

1Soften butter and add sugar.

2Beat until smooth.

3Add 2 egg yolks, salt, baking powder and vanilla and beat.

4Use enough milk with flour for consistency.

5Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.

6Bake in 2 cake pans (buttered and floured) for 30 minutes at 350°.
