- 3/4 c. nuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
Directions

1Chop dates and nuts.

2Put into bowl with butter and baking soda and pour over 1 cup boiling water.

3Let stand until cool. Beat eggs.

4Add sugar, vanilla and salt and beat well.

5Stir in flour and add ingredients from other bowl.
