  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 3 c. crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 c. 10x sugar
  • 1 c. finely chopped walnuts (1/4 lb.)
  • 1/4 c. Karo light corn syrup
  • 1/3 c. bourbon
  • cocoa (for rolling cookies in)

Directions

    Combine cocoa, vanilla wafers, sugar and nuts.

    Add corn syrup and bourbon.

    Let stand 30 minutes.

    Pinch off walnut sized pieces and roll into balls.

    Roll balls in cocoa.

    Serve.

    Makes 50 to 60 balls.
