- 1 1/2 lb. beef livers
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 medium size onion, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. granulated bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. minced green onions
- oregano, black pepper and Tabasco sauce to taste
Directions

1Dredge beef liver in 3 tablespoons flour.

2Saute the onion slices in hot shortening for 2 minutes. Add liver and brown gently.

3Remove onion and liver to a warm plate.

4Add remaining flour to drippings. Stir in all other ingredients except green onions until the sauce is thick and smooth.

5Return liver and onion to pot and simmer for 10 minutes.

6Serve hot with green onion garnish.
