  • 9-inch pie shell
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 6 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. bourbon (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels, melted

Directions

    Prepare unbaked pie crust. Whisk together eggs and the next 7 ingredients until blended. Stir in pecans and the melted chocolate.

    Pour into pie crust. Bake on lowest oven rack at 350° for 1 hour or until set. Cool completely.
