- 1 (9 or 10-inch) pie crust
- 1/3 c. bourbon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 c. pecan halves
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
Directions

1Toss pecans and bourbon until coated; let stand 1 hour, until most of the bourbon is absorbed.

2Heat oven to 325°.

3Mix brown sugar and flour; beat in margarine until creamy.

4Beat in corn syrup, eggs and salt; stir in pecan mixture.

5Pour into pie shell. Cover edge with 1/2-inch aluminum foil strip to prevent excessive browning.

6Bake for 45 minutes.

7Remove foil last 15 minutes.
