  • 1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. chopped fresh pears
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream the butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, cinnamon and buttermilk. Stir in pears, pecans and vanilla. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
