Bourbon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 c. ground vanilla wafers
  • 1 c. cut up candied cherries
  • 1 c. cut up candied pineapple
  • 2 c. pecan halves (do not chop)
  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 5 Tbsp. bourbon
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

    Mix milk and bourbon together.

    Add cherries, pineapple, vanilla wafer crumbs and pecan halves.

    Mix well and divide into 2 rolls.

    Will be sticky at first.

    Roll each roll in confectioners sugar, then wrap in wax paper and refrigerate.

    You can grind the vanilla wafers in blender.

    Be sure to use pecan halves.

    If dough is too sticky when rolling, keep a small bowl of bourbon nearby and dip fingers in bourbon before rolling.

    After refrigerating overnight, you can cut into rolls.

    Keep refrigerated at all times.
