Bow Tie Casserole

  • 2 lb. bow tie noodles
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 lb. pepperoni, sliced
  • 2 qt. spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb. Provolone cheese (whole piece)
  • 1 lb. sliced Mozzarella cheese (16 slices)

Directions

    Cook noodles and drain.

    Divide into two (9 x 13-inch) pans. Brown the ground chuck and drain.

    Cut pepperoni into half moon shapes, add to sauce and simmer.

    Grate the Provolone cheese and add to sauce.

    Stir the browned chuck into sauce and pour over the noodles.

    Top with slices of Mozzarella cheese (8 slices per pan). Bake at 350° until the cheese is melted.

    Halve the recipe for 1 pan.
