Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 ounces chocolate or butterscotch chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup coconut flakes

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.

    In a large bowl beat butter with sugars.

    Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.

    Gradually beat in dry ingredients.

    Fold in chips.

    Pour batter into a greased 9 1/2x113-inch baking pan.

    In a small bowl mix condensed milk with coconut.

    Pour coconut topping over batter and smooth evenly.

    Bake for 25 minutes.
