   Muddle the mint and sugar in the bottom of an old fashioned glass.

   Squeeze in a lime slice.

   Fill glass most of the way with ice, add vodka (Southern Comfort also works, if you prefer).

   Top off with club soda.

   Stick a straw in it, drink, and try not to think about the mess.
