- 2 pork chops, very lean and well trimmed
- 2 c. cabbage, raw and shredded
- 1 small tart apple, halved, cored and sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, unpeeled and quartered
- 1/4 tsp. caraway seed
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Brown on both sides in heavy skillet over medium heat.

2Remove chops from skillet; layer remaining ingredients into skillet.

3Add chops.

4Add water and cover skillet tightly.

5Cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes or until pork and cabbage are tender.

6Add water if it seems dry.

7Yields 2 servings.
